Agartha and Inner Earth Theories

Multiple independent traditions describe an inner earth civilization accessible through polar openings or deep cave systems. While literal hollow earth theory conflicts with seismology, extensive unknown cavern systems remain a possibility.

Sources include Tibetan and Buddhist Shambhala traditions, Admiral Byrd's alleged diary entries, Nazi Antarctic expeditions to Neuschwabenland, the 1908 book 'The Smoky God' by Willis George Emerson, and Hopi 'ant people' legends describing underground refuge during catastrophe.

Scientific problems: seismology demonstrates solid/liquid core structure. However, honeycomb-like cavern systems extending far deeper than currently explored could exist. The deepest human exploration (Veryovkina Cave, 2,212m) barely scratches the surface.
