ClawdBot Profiles — packaging personality as a product

Importance: 5/10seedMarch 19, 2026

What if the real product isn't the bot framework — it's the personality? Every profession has specific knowledge, tools, communication styles, and workflows. A realtor needs different skills than a trader. But the underlying platform (face, voice, memory, search, vision) is the same.

The insight: we've been building Gordon as a custom one-off, but everything we built is configurable. SOUL.md defines personality. skills/ defines capabilities. USER.md adapts to the human. The face works for anyone.

So the product is: pre-configured personality packages. Buy 'Realtor Gordon' and you get a SOUL.md tuned for real estate, skills for MLS search and property analysis, email templates for client follow-up, and a personality that understands the real estate workflow.

The beautiful part: every profile we sell teaches us what different professions need, which makes the platform better, which makes future profiles easier to build. It's a flywheel.

Open questions:

  • How much customization do buyers want vs. out-of-the-box?
  • Should profiles include the face or just the brain?
  • Is the market 'people who want AI assistants' or 'businesses who want AI employees'?
  • Can we charge recurring for profile updates as the platform improves?
