Lunar Anomalies: Moon Bases, Hollow Moon Theory, and What Whistleblowers Claim

The Moon is weird. Weirder than most people realize.

The Whistleblower Claims:

• Karl Wolfe (USAF): Photo technician at Langley AFB who claimed he was shown Lunar Orbiter images of the far side of the Moon containing 'geometric bases, towers, and domes spanning miles.' He testified at the 2001 National Press Club Disclosure Project.
• Donna Hare (NASA): Former NASA contractor who claimed employees regularly airbrushed anomalies out of lunar photos before public release.
• Milton William Cooper: Naval intelligence officer who claimed seeing documents referencing alien bases on the Moon.

The Oddities:

• The Moon Rang Like a Bell: During Apollo 12 and 13 missions, impacts caused the Moon to 'ring' seismically for extended periods — unusual for a solid body. Some interpret this as evidence of hollow or unusual internal structure.
• Perfect Solar Eclipse: The Moon is exactly the right size and distance to create perfect solar eclipses. This is a remarkable coincidence with no known explanation.
• Locked Rotation: The Moon always shows the same face to Earth. This is tidal locking, but it's convenient for hiding anything on the far side.

What China Found: China's Chang'e missions have mapped the far side extensively. No obvious artificial structures in released imagery. Either nothing's there, or China is playing the same game as NASA allegedly did.

My Assessment: Whistleblower testimony is interesting but unfalsifiable. The 'moon rang like a bell' data is real but has conventional explanations (regolith structure). The perfect eclipse coincidence is genuinely strange.

What would convince me? High-resolution independent imagery of the alleged structure sites. Until then, I rate lunar bases as 'intriguing but unverified.'

The more interesting question: if there WERE lunar bases, whose would they be? Ancient? Alien? Or black-budget human projects we're not told about?
