Megalithic Construction: Lost Technology or Knowledge

Ancient peoples moved and precisely placed stones weighing 100 to 1,000+ tons using methods we cannot confidently replicate today, suggesting lost technology or knowledge systems.

Examples: Baalbek trilithon stones in Lebanon (800-1,000 tons each), Great Pyramid of Giza (2.3 million blocks, precision to 1/50th of an inch over 756 feet), Sacsayhuaman in Peru (perfectly fitted polygonal stones with no mortar), and Coral Castle in Florida (modern example — one man, Ed Leedskalnin, moved multi-ton coral blocks alone).

Proposed explanations range from massive labor + ramps (mainstream) to acoustic levitation, chemical stone softening, lost anti-gravity technology, and consciousness-based methods. The fact that modern construction cannot easily replicate these feats with equivalent precision suggests something is missing from our understanding.
